Four Bureaus within the US Department of State (DoS) nominated Ian, Evan & Alexander Corporation (IEA) as its 2012 “DoS Small Business of the Year” for our support of the Professional, Technical, Administrative, and Program Support Services (PTAPSS) contract. IEA has managed over 85 task orders under this IDIQ contract, placed over 100 employees, and maintained a 95+% retention rate. Additionally, IEA’s PTAPSS Program Manager, Mrs. Liz Benton, was awarded the Quick Reaction Force Medallion for her outstanding support.

IEA is one of nine small business contractors awarded a prime contract under PTAPSS. This is a task order-driven indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide mission critical staffing support to all of the Bureaus and offices within the DoS to ensure program missions and objectives are achieved. IEA is required to staff positions through the transition of incumbent staff or with newly-recruited and thoroughly screened, qualified candidates upon task order award. In support of this contract, IEA provides a wide range of support services to the DoS in various locations throughout the US. These services include program and administrative management, grants management, program planning, financial management, budget planning, human resource management, portfolio management, and acquisition management.

“IEA remains committed to the Department of State and growing our presence in the federal marketplace. We are indeed fortunate to have a great workforce carrying out the mission of DoS and supporting DoS managers. Our PTAPSS team success is attributed to having great employees, responsive subcontractors and industry leading benefits and compensation” said John E. Cochran, President and CEO of IEA.
